AI agents get sold as a cheaper alternative to hiring. In a demo, that looks true. Inside a real business, it usually isn't, at least not on its own.
What agents actually cost you
Every agent needs setting up properly for your business, watching while it works, and correcting when it gets something wrong. That is real time, and it has to be spent by someone who understands both the problem and the tool. The work does not disappear because the worker is not human. It moves.
If your business cannot afford to hire someone to solve a problem, an agent working alone will not solve it either. It just moves the same gap somewhere less visible.

How the code stays shared
When a member improves or extends an agent, those changes are shared back into the network under the shared commons license. It is not locked to whoever wrote it first, and it is not published outside membership. Built once inside the network, available to every member, improved by whoever needs it next.
