The route
A flat canals loop through the city centre: meet at Brindleyplace for coffee, then Gas Street Basin, the Mailbox, Cambrian Wharf and Centenary Square. Wide towpaths for walking side-by-side, plenty of cafés, and a natural loop for good conversation (about 4.5–5 km, 60–75 minutes).
Getting there
Five minutes' walk from New Street and Grand Central. Brindleyplace has cafés to meet before the walk and lunch after.
