An easy riverside amble along the Canal, overlooking the Usk Valley: gentle, scenic, and all on the level. Bring a problem you’re chewing on; fresh air and good company do the rest.

Birmingham: Canals Loop
A flat canals loop through the city centre: meet at Brindleyplace for coffee, then Gas Street Basin, the Mailbox, Cambrian Wharf and Centenary Square. Wide towpaths for walking side-by-side, plenty of cafés, and a natural loop for good conversation (about 4.5–5 km, 60–75 minutes).
London
London: Regent's Park Loop
A flat loop through Regent's Park on wide footpaths and park paths: Broad Walk, Queen Mary's Gardens, the Inner Circle and Avenue Gardens. Traffic-free, scenic, and ideal for walking side-by-side (about 4.5–5 km, 60–75 minutes).
Leeds
Leeds: Docks & Canal Loop
Meet at North Star for coffee, then a gentle loop of Leeds Dock, the River Aire towpath to Granary Wharf, and back along the Leeds & Liverpool Canal. Almost entirely traffic-free, flat, and waterside: ideal for walking side-by-side (about 4.8 km, 70–90 minutes).
